People

taWeeCOOL architects is continued from a small design studio namely “Khiensak Architects (1990-2010).

taWeeCOOL architects founded by Khiensak SEANGKLIENG, PhD. ASA and Sirichai THONTONG, ASA since 2011 has become one of the leading innovative firm with research-based approach in Thailand.

Always designing and moving beyond the context-based values surrounding a project and re-interpret them into a sense of creativity and practicality as well as integrating with accountability in professional environment.

  • Khiensak studied architecture at UNP, Vigan, Ilocos sur, before returning to Thailand to continue running design studio of Khiensak Architects in 1993.

    Khiensak has received Master of Architecture (M. Arch.) from Chulalongkorn University and Ph.D. from Silpakorn University with Thesis prize of NRCT Award under advisory by Professor Dr. William Chapman.

    Khiensak has received numerous in both national and international prizes and awards in architectural design, research and inventions.

    Besides running his architectural practice and research, Khiensak has continued to be involved in academic and professional development as a fulltime professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Thammasat University since 2003.

  • Sirichai studied architecture at the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Thammasat University and received Master of Architecture (M. Arch) as a professional degree. He has 3 years’ experience working in architectural practice with the leading architect firm before returning to Khiensak architects to establish taWeeCOOL architects in 2011. Besides running his architectural practice, Sirichi has continued to develop his expertise in both architectural design and illustration. He is a registered architect since 2013.
